I love my Nikon, love their glass, so I signed myself up. The prize, the new Nikon 50mm G is their latest take on their venerable 50mm lens. I remember when I got my 50mm f1.8 D; the speed, sharpness and lack of any distortion blew me away. It was my first prime lens and is still the one most likely to be found on my camera. If you don't have one, you should, for the price you can't afford not to have one in your bag.
