I live and work in Vancouver, British Columbia. You could best describe me as a self-destroyed Artician. I am better with words than with numbers. I am an autodidactic polymath with A.S.A. I have been utilizing computers since I got my first IBM 386 and the internet since its beginning. I have lived an atypical life so far; I do not subscribe to most of the cultural imperatives that are in force today in the western regimes. I disagree. For example I work a lot, work that I really enjoy, like writing this copy here1, building this website, taking photographs, learning unlearning, this is my work.
I try to reduce things to their simplest terms. Terms like bums in seats
Do you want a website? No, you don't; really you just want bums in seats.
Simple enough but I can reduce that catchy copy to one word: Attention . You want to engage a processors attention
If Nothing is for Certain, then Nothing is Impossible
This is a motive truth for a joat. I know the mememaster of none
. I am all too aware that our culture does not reward those that follow more than one path. I understand the pathology of perception that some see as error. What is derided as "unfocused" I see merely as a wide field of view.
(1) Writing is very hard, that is why copy writing cost money, it take time, it is painful and Sturgeon's law is enforced with no tolerance. Your going to have to really pay me for that.
